Our standards
How Property Service Techs qualifies service providers and keeps work accountable. Requirements are applied per service, client and jurisdiction.
Tech qualification
Before a Property Service Tech can be matched to work, they complete a profile, select the services they want to perform and meet the requirements configured for those services. Requirements vary by service, client and jurisdiction.
Applicable background screening
Background screening is applied where it is required for a service, client or jurisdiction. Screening is handled through a screening process with disclosure and authorization; any applicable fee is disclosed before a Tech authorizes anything. Screening requirements differ by service — we do not represent that every Tech has completed every check.
Identity verification
Identity verification is part of the qualification process where it applies to the service or client requirement.
Training and certification
Internal capability training and certification unlock the services a Tech can be matched for. Training and certification are internal capability credentials. They never replace a license, credential or insurance required by law.
Insurance verification
Where insurance is required for a service or client, the Tech must provide and maintain the applicable coverage before being matched to that work.
Professional licensing
Where a trade or jurisdiction requires a professional license, that license is a matching requirement for the affected service.
Quality control
Work is documented through the platform — scope, scheduling, field notes and completion records stay attached to the project so quality issues can be reviewed against the record.
Client approval
Clients review the matched Tech and the quote before anything is scheduled. Nothing is confirmed until the client approves.
Safety and service standards
Techs are expected to follow safe work practices, applicable law and the service standards that apply to the work they accept.
Verification and screening requirements vary by service. Where a requirement does not apply to a service, it is not represented as completed. See Questions & Answers or contact us.
